A shitty introduction

Published by Rose on

Here’s the deal. We’re millennials, and we want to make money without having to have a shitty 9 to 5 (let’s be real, 8 to 6) job and without having to report to anyone. And it seems like anyone and their mom can start a blog and make some money nowadays, so what the hell. We’re funny people, right? We can write stuff and like…it’ll be great. I promise.

Also a general disclaimer – I, at least, am not a creative person. At all. Like, I-studied-MOLECULAR-BIOLOGY not creative. To be fair, I was terrible at biology and only stuck with it for four years because I’m an incredibly stubborn person. That’s not to say that I’m a secretly creative person who should have gone with a solid B+ average English degree instead, but I’m also kind of hoping that I am secretly creative and this blog eventually becomes something worth reading.

Another disclaimer – as far as we know, this blog doesn’t have a real theme…yet. As women in our mid-twenties, we don’t have THAT many things to talk about so I’m sure we’ll cover the usual topics like relationships, fashion (we LOVE Project Runway), books, cats, and existential dread.

It’ll be us talking about stuff with each other and at each other and maybe we’ll even have friends (yes we have friends) chime in on occasion. Hopefully you find our babbling and rambling entertaining enough to join us on this exciting journey (read: quarter-life crisis) and turn our dreams of leaving corporate America into a reality!
